In anticipation of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the Center for Cause Awareness hit the road with another Sylvia’s Soul Tour. Underwritten by the famous Sylvia’s Restaurant in Harlem, volunteers passed out literature and information about available resources along with prime beef tips over rice; seasoned with Sylvia’s seasonings and served with Sylvia’s gravy corn bread and peach cobbler.
Breast cancer is the second most common kind of cancer in women and Sylvia’s Soul Tours in cooperation with neighborhood supermarkets help get out the word about how and where to find sources of support for those that need it most. CCA – doing good deliciously!
